Dr. Jamie Haroldson
Dr. Haroldson is originally from North Vancouver, BC, where she grew up skiing on the local mountains and competing in soccer and basketball. Her interests in movement and anatomy led her to complete her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. She practiced for two years as a kinesiologist in the Vancouver area prior to returning to school and completing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon.
Jamie’s background in rehabilitation and active care has provided her with the experience to address and understand pain and injury from its foundation in movement. She believes that through strong communication and collaboration, she can better understand each patient’s needs and goals, and develop a plan to get them back to doing what they love. Her treatment may include education, spinal and extremity manipulation and mobilization, various soft tissue therapies, movement, and exercise.
Outside of work, Jamie loves to spend her time exploring the mountains with her partner and their Husky. Depending on the season, you can find her cycling, hiking, backpacking, or skiing. She also tries to sneak away to Shuswap lake as much as possible, where her parents now call home.
